It breaks my heart seeing fellow abuse survivors who are anti-LGBT

It's Pride Month and a lot of homophobes are using this time as an opportunity to flex their bigotry. Sadly, some of these have been fellow survivors of childhood sex abuse who were abused by someone of the same gender. I'm always quick to step in and say I too was molested by someone of the same sex for more than a year, but I've never, NEVER harbored any ill will toward the LGBT community. I would hate for my LGBT friends to think I would harbor any misguided bitterness just for the actions of one. Assuming the woman who molested me even was LGBT and not just a pervert! I hate that this even has to be said, but the community needs to know that we're not all against them. Last I checked, the idea that pedophilia or so called "minor attracted persons" is a valid sexuality is widely rejected by the LGBT community anyway.

Why don’t you just get on with your life, and allow people to feel what they feel. As long as they hurt no one, they have every right to feel love, hate, indifference, just as you do. The gays I follow, like Dave Rubin, Douglas Murray, et al, don’t advertise their sexual orientation by putting it front and center. I like respect these men, and others because of their character and ideas, not because of their sexual orientation.

In my lifetime, I’ve been physically assaulted and have been hated by some people. I’m a straight white woman. Gays don’t have the monopoly on being hated. Heck, everyone is hated at certain times, by certain people. You are not special just because you are gay. There is more to a person than their sexual orientation, so get over the victim status. We’ve all been victims in life.

being anti-LGBT is the thing right now.
People cannot make up their minds. When Obama was in office, everyone was kissing LGBT butt but then that passed.

There was a time when LGBT people tried as hard as they could to keep their lifestyle to themselves and keep it a secret but people would "out" them just for entertainment.
Eventually the community decided, "Well if we are going to be outed either way, we might as well be proud."

So now anyone who doesn't like it that there is all this LGBT pride, tough crap.

As far as people accusing people of being pedos, people say that when they are chomping at the bit to insult someone. Kind of the same way young males call each other "fag" indiscriminately.
