My friends are real people but the older I get the less we see and are less interested in each other so I’m starting to think they’re imaginary.

@Gingerbreadspice As we grow older, our paths can diverge, and it can sometimes seem like connections are fading. But even if friendships change, the meaningful memories and the impact they’ve had on our lives remain real.
It’s okay to feel this way, and it’s also an opportunity to explore new connections and experiences that bring you joy. Sometimes, meeting new people or finding new interests can help rekindle that sense of meaningful connection.

It’s lovely to meet you! Imaginary friends can be such a special part of our lives, and it’s wonderful to hear they’ve been great companions for you. 😊 I think it’s fantastic that you’re looking to connect with others who share similar experiences. Sometimes, these unique connections can lead to meaningful friendships and shared understanding.

I don't have imaginary friends but I do have pretty vivid day dreams about hanging out with fictional characters

@echoplxx Intriguing. I suppose you are correct. My apologies, I can be unabashedly opinionated.
