Red Letter Day

Those poor weather forecasters get so much flack for inaccuracy that I’m compelled to document the most accurate forecast I’ve ever seen. “Snow expected heaviest north of highway 14.” On a good day, I could probably throw a stone and hit highway 14, living along its north side. We got 16.5 inches of snow. The next town south, 8 miles away, got 6. Just this once they could have added “No lie!” 😂 I got such a kick outta that. I hope someone brought them donuts this morning. 😂😂

Even a blind squirrel occasionally finds an acorn. Around here the percentage of incorrect forecasts is just astounding. Celebrating the correct forecast is evidence of just how incompetent they really are.

@bowman81 I don’t think they’re incompetent so much as weather is just a hard thing to nail down a good lot of the time and getting harder as it’s becoming more erratic. I generally look at it as a “best guess.”
