Rare seriously serious post.

My vasectomy took five minutes. It will take a week to be back to full fitness. It was a little painful but nothing too bad, and I feel well in myself the next day.

For straight men, by going through this measly amount of discomfort you can save your partner from the twin burdens of pregnancy risk and - probably - birth control management. Why wouldn't you?

@Elessar idk about the rules there but in Iran for men and women alike you gotta have at least 3 children, be older than 40 plus alot of interviews and dramas

@Nanori Over here there's no written rule as far as I know, it's the judgement of the doctor what matters - but the catholic mafia has a strong grip on the healthcare system, especially the south. Just like abortion, technically legal but there are instances of women who had to travel 700km before finding a clinic that would perform it.

And there's zero chance that this will improve any time soon, definitely not with this newly elected parliament.

You know, all those who didn't go to vote in the name of bothsidedbadeism, will hopefully figure out that having let a 25% of the population pick a choice for them wasn't too smart.
