I Believe A Guy And A Girl Can Be Just Friends

Why not?! I don’t see the problem in this. Sometimes when the other starts dating...distance grows but I think as long as there’s an overall understanding, there shouldn’t be a problem. I know some other halves can make guy/girl friendships hard but that’s where trust and honesty with communication comes into play.

I am married and my wife has no problem with me being friends with other females, same as I have no problem with her being friends with other males. We both know there are boundaries of course, and we are each other's priority. Neither of us would just hangout with someone of the opposite sex, and we would never let that friendship interfere with our time together. If we sensed that the person was getting a little too close, we would end it right then and there out of pure respect for each other and our marriage (especially if one of us began to feel uncomfortable). But over all, we don't mind at all if the other's acquaintance is of the opposite sex.
