@DeerMePlease Humans don't need to be hunted or managed.
The really cool part about humans is the way they're faithlessly capable of severely limiting their own collective short lifespans.
Even without the slightest guidance, comprehension, or remorse while at the same time believing they care about themselves.
While members of the least influencial members of the human herd are kept resentful and yoked with toil, their leaders and leaders charges are denied the thousand year life span by having unfit minds that hold their own species in contempt.
Even the most harmless , wise and pious among us needs to spend so much cranial energy merely to coordinate our 5 senses, we burn down our own nucleotide sequences. Then within 3 or 4 decades most brains cease expanding. Within 2 and a half our endocrine systems reach semi stasis. And as if that weren't enough, within 5 decades it's practically guaranteed that every one of us will face an unjustified self inflicted betrayal or other psychological trauma that will begin the process of physiological delapitation.
No animal that I'm aware of has the ability to live ten times its average live span.
Then again. No human other than the one I'm aware of, who was called Jesus, has the ability to survive the natural terrestrial environment. He could survive months in the desert without even the slightest of help. And hindrances of temptation and doubts inflicted being added to his fleshly state.
No, without the collective mutual efforts of its entire species, human life could never have survived the hostile planet or its predatory animals. You only think nature is you're friend because you've never seen a moose flatten a human, an eagle pick up a collie and feed it to its young, or a pig munch down a pile of bones.

Boar or pipskwique game isn't my thing but if those don't get managed too the coyotes and foxes and bigger fowl will populate to the point they'll be dipping kids from backyards.
We do whitetail by bow and rifle a season each per year where I am. The surviving members of the herds stay better fed and healthier. If not early in winter they consume what light remaining greenery there is, and we get thousands of rotting deer carcasses with feral excrement and aggressive canine species, destructive rodents, and rotting filth and diseases with opportunistic pests felling the trees all over the forests.
Now you know much more about forestry wildlife and land managment on the grand scale and maybe realize your verbal attacks against hunters didn't make any form of sense so far as compassion for humans or natures animals.
The stories of humans and animals aren't historically competitive. In the civilized world we hold a cherished awareness of our symbiotic presence with them on the planet.
On some continents where the much less aware had no say the leaders encouraged destruction of untold habitats and sub species. We don't do that in N. America because we learned from our predecessor society. Hunting, only as much as is needed, is good. Too much or none at all is bad.
