@Pretzel as a kid it seemed so hard to do... finger got tired

@Pretzel No ,I really only remember the plastic ones and that we had a red phone that we called the bat phone in honor of the old show "Batman"

I was born in 1967.

@Justmeraeagain ahh I was in 3rd grade - it was scary for a kid to know that somebody as important as the president could be killed.

@Pretzel I bet it was and now it's scary that it doesn't seem that implausible
