I don’t think it’s rude, it indicates you were paying attention to what they told you before. Of course, there’s how one asks: "Are things better today ?" might get a more positive response than, say, "Are you still in a bad mood ?" 😅
@bijouxbroussard I think he's just a d*ck I mean. He mentioned that the self serve kiosks in a supermarket was rubbish and didn't work properly the day before hence my question. He just swerved me!
@Mellowgirl Sometimes it is hard to know how to approach things. Although if a self checkout machine had ruined his entire day, he might have anger issues.
Yes,that's nice, though probably best to ask a more general question, like "How are you" or "How are things" - something along those lines, without suggesting too direct a link to the way that they were previously feeling.
@craig7 you see I try to tailor the question to the person when I know something specific because they all arrive at the same time and I ask how are you today about 30x... But I hear you...
@TeirdalinFirefall I thought It was fine but clearly he didn't find it a nice question to ask. i find him rather rude anyways. I've only ever tried to be nice to him and others. I guess you just can't please all of the people all of the time!
