someone put the groceries away while tired. I once found a thing of mustard. And my entire family hates mustard, no one had any recollection of having ever purchased mustard, or ever even used mustard. Indeed, when i opened it, it still had the seal thingy on it. So . . . anyone need an unopened thing of mustard?
@Icetrey I used to buy groceries after I worked at night, would go about 1 a.m. and get them when there weren’t many people in the story. I got home one night with a coconut cream pie and looked on my receipt and wasn’t charged for it. I didn’t see anyone put it in the bag but I was writing a check part of the time so I don’t know.
@cherokeepatti I used to work at a grocery store, yea it happens. The worst was when i'd load someone up, and be taking the cart back and realize i'd left something of theirs in the cart.
@Icetrey they can’t take something back that’s cold like that so I kept it. Too far out into the country to bring it back anyway and it was night time.
@Icetrey yep, anything frozen or refrigerated has to be thrown in the trash, they can’t sell it. Why let it go to waste? Too bad they didn’t put a whole beef brisket in my bag.
