its literally life. I hate it too. I've been in some bad sh*t that isn't my fault. BUT it IS my job to get out of it.
In your situation though....why are you giving attention to things/people that don't reciprocate?
it's not that you are good of heart...... you want love and approval.... you wont get it that way....

@HellsBelle yeah I think it's because I don't want them to feel like I'm a bad person and don't want them to feel what I feel everyday

@Nutshell29 just......stop. Let them go....let them all go if need be. And look at you...be comfortable with YOU first. then invite in the ones who care. I have been two years single. Once I was single I deleted everyone off my facebook except relatives. I'm still not ready to let anyone in and that is ok and maybe you need to know that too. you are the only one who will live the rest of your life.

@HellsBelle you're right

If there's bad then there has to be good. One doesn't exist without the other.
Personally, I think we always get what we deserve, good or bad, if not in this life then in the next.
So it's worth it to me to be positive... but whatever, that's just my take on it.

As I've learned ...only give of yourself with out expectations and just for the sake of doing good
Nutshell29 · 26-30, F

Nutshell29 · 26-30, F
@SW-User yeah I just cry if I'm focused on my problems so I try not to dwell but I know by avoiding it it's going to cause more pain

I think giving yourself to someone is a form of charity and in my experience the people that receive that charity are the ones that don't deserve it.
Nutshell29 · 26-30, F
@Lostpoet I don't know I feel it always happens

There's an actual book called When Bad Things Happen To Good People by Rabbi Harold S. Kushner:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/When_Bad_Things_Happen_to_Good_People.
So here was a holy man whose son died very young from rapid aging disease progeria.
I have many takeaways from this book, especially being a philosophy minor in college, but essentially "do good because it feels good to do good", because man, no good deed goes unpunished.
