It Baffles Me How Many People Here Have No Posts, No "About Me," and Belong To No Forums.

They must be just observers.
Do you think they have any interest in connecting with anyone?

They may want to connect but they’re fearful. Or they’re lonely. Or both. So they get to be near people in a way they feel safe.

@OlderSometimesWiser Yes, that's understandable, and a very good point. Maybe one day, if they come to feel brave and outgoing enough, they'll participate more.
