Some people I used to talk to are gone

It's a strange feeling. I've lost a lot of friends but being as I am now, more kinder, more thoughtful and far less anxious or offensive, I can say now it's more so just nature. I'm not particularly hated, but even a pleasant person like me can be left by the wayside.

It's not a nice thought, but it shows the people i tend to talk to live full lives that needed their attention. Some time I hope to have people of my own who ask my attention.

Sadly some friends are only meant for a season.
Which is all the more reason to enjoy the good times while we have them in our lives, 🩷

@Kaetana Seemingly. Unless they're caged in at a job like my coworkers, there ain't no time to just hang out and bond.

@twistedrope I noticed that there as been a considerable shift on this platform too. When I first joined idk maybe 5 years ago there were so different regulars. Whose names I haven’t seen this time around.

Among a few I used to particularly enjoy
”Hairbrush Diva” & the trip down memory lane with the excerpts from songs I hadn’t heard since forever ago 🙂
I miss a lot of people I used to speak to here, but I’m not upset about those who left because things in their lives became more pressing. The ones whose absence makes me sad are the ones who have passed away. 🥺

@bijouxbroussard I'm sorry to hear those have passed. I'm a bit cruel. I still miss my friends from like 10 years ago. Everyone I bonded with, those memories are still there being annoying.

People come...people go. Only one person I care about on here....still here. Enjoy life my friend.
Life is good. 🙂
That's part if life ...there is no such thing as permanence

@pripyatamusementpark Maybe but I could at least ask for more than a month >:/ Impermanence I'll be frustrated about and there's no reason not to be.
You make it sound like they're dead.

@LillyOLilly There are too many people gone in my life for too long too frequently not to sound that way.
