Yes I agree with this .It took me to nearly die lose my job become disabled to realise who my true friends were there was only one .

It is possible that you were too nice. Something g important to know and understand that to be a healthy person a balance of giving and taking needs to be established. It’s starts with being honest with yourself about what you want and what you think is okay to give. If you are too nice you will resent it if you don’t have an emotional support system in Place, or fulfilling hobbies and pastimes. Someone who is too selfish and unable to make compromises may end up being alone.
