I crave genuine conversation

No one offers genuine conversation anymore, and social media is full of offended people.

Anyway, my life isn’t going too well right now, and the one person I want to talk to is too busy or distracted most of the time.

A lot has happened in the past year.

Youre right. Ive had ...or tried to have...discussions with people and they just end up disappearing . There is no chance to get to know one another. We all need someone we can share things with. I understand life gets busy and can get in the way sometimes and it can be a challenge to keep in touch...but the effort can be rewarding. For some, life throws a real curve which can mean they are gone for a while to deal with it....which is fine...just communicate that.
