I miss having someone to say “Good Morning” to. It makes such a difference. I’d call it loneliness, although I do need at least an hour of quiet time, first thing, to myself.
It is freedom. It takes time to adapt to changes. Give yourself time. You deserve the best in life. Enjoy your newfound freedom. You still have your memories in your precious heart.
@SageWanderer hey dear, I just read you've lost your wife.... My condolences 💐😔 I remember parts of your journey.. being in the caretaker role for that long ❤️ I hope you will feel better. It will take the time to heal...... Maybe get in the van for a weekend?.. I'm sorry..I hope she's finally free 🙏🏼
@elafina She’s free from pain and illness for which I’m grateful. I go between freedom from being a caretaker to loneliness. Did get a road trip in last weekend, camping season starts soon!
