Why is there a kind of stigma about commenting on posts that are too old?

Why does it usually feel weird and awkward replying after a certain point?

Maybe that's just me. 🤷‍♀️

But really, posts kinda age out unless a lot of comments keep resurrecting it.

@OhIsMe be careful there! Some posts are by the actual dead and others revere them as a shrine.

Accidentally did that once with one. Another user got so upset that it caused a war for two years before she blocked me!
