I Love Conversations That Last All Night
I love conversations that last all night – that is usually how you can tell that you are conversing with the right people. That is usually the best way to properly get to know another person.
It happened in this way when we first met; we spoke all day until the stars were the only light left above us. That was to be our introduction to each other… and what a great first impression it was. That night will always fall under my most cherished memories.
Skip several years into the future and you’ll find that the repartee endured. It had merely changed form. I was halfway across the world, so our communication was limited to messaging. But despite the 8000km complication, the quality of our dialogue never dwindled. Instead you’d find me waking up earlier for my shifts just so the time zones would sync up and the conversation can keep flowing for the entirety of the day.
Now distance is no longer an issue and all I need to do for a chat is turn over to find you right next to me. Our deliberations are just as insightful as always and for that I consider myself to be blessed.
