Best Friend

I'm a bit drunk so please ignore spelling mistakes or anything. I have a best friend and I love her so much. I tell her I love her more than my own family. I'm simply curious if there is actually a way to explain how you can love someone more than your own parents or siblings. We can talk so freely and everything. We're so similar but in a way that isn't too similar that it causes problems but in a way that just makes it so perfect. I swear that she's the only one that makes me laugh, or even the only person where I'll smile the whole time I'm with her. There's never been a moment where I've been uncomfortable, awkward or anything. I just love her.

That's what best friends are all about, we love them because they get us, and we get them. It's a beautiful thing when you can find a best friend, and feel comfortable telling all your secrets to, knowing they'll keep them. Everyone needs someone like that, and you're fortunate to have each other.
