Before sending someone a PM, do you take the time to read their profile?
I think it's very telling when someone says they'd like to get to me, but it's clear that they didn't even read my profile

I read profiles when getting to know someone, but I've also not fallen for thhus lazy thinking society has in which every thing can be explained in a few characters. If all it took to explain someone's life, stances, interests etc then people would be very boring, though that would be counter to reality
