What happens when someone starts a conversation by saying you're pretty/handsome

Is it true that you lose interest when out of nowhere someone says you are pretty/handsome then starts a conversation? To speak for myself, i always feel the person is not genuine and i become suspicious they are up to something... takes time to adjust and play along

I met a Frenchman a couple of months ago from Canada. He wanted to be friends. I love friends so I said sure we can be friends. I've never had a true friend keep telling me how beautiful I'm am Especially when just becoming friends.

We went on one motorcycle ride. When I didn't want to go on a second ride he took it personally and makes comments that makes me think he does not like the fact that I am honest and true about what I want and do not want in my life.

True friendship is very hard to come by with males or females.

Yes sure its hard to comeby true friendship. Some people are looking for instant gratification while genuine people are looking for true and lasting connections..most people online are looking for the first option which is to get fantasies.. they dont care if they are stepping on someones toes

@silentkev: I think I've found the key to doing that and as I apply what I learn to my life it gets balanced more and more.

I think our minds need to be opened to what it means and keep learning what balances each of us individually.

Conscious evolution as well as physical evolution is key to balance to me.

@Justpeaceandlove: You have truly touched what i practice. I have achieved a lot since i started simple exercise that keep me grounded and balanced. There are people who are so compliant to a particular way of reasoning that they believe conscious and physical evolution is just a ploy of people who want to look weird. They are too blinded to see the value in it

@silentkev: I understand what you are saying. I guess I have to look at my own life and see where I have grown. Some that I didn't understand in the past I understand now and visa versa. It is what it is isn't it.

The story of Creation has been told by many people in different ways and some are not told it at all. I think once we get past the opinions of what others think or say, even our own opinions of ourselves we see a different picture of ourselves, others and life.

That's what I feel right now. :)

@Justpeaceandlove: Exactly the point, you put your mind to reason and come up with explanations that make sense to you as a person. Not what others think makes sense. Im sure thats the reason humans were created with brains and ability to reason. Thanks for sharing this..
