It's weird when someone I barely talk to considers me their friend

Even if we might've been closer to where you would say we were friends at one point, we really don't interact a whole lot anymore and haven't for a long time. We're not enemies, but we've grown apart to where we're more acquaintances than anything else. I guess, I'm glad they still consider me a friend, but it's awkward for me that they do. That might be a bit mean, but it's not like I'm not pleased with us remaining on good terms with each other. It's just... we're not friends. 🤷‍♀

I have "Friends" like that from childhood and young adult years. I basically only see or talk to them now when one of us from the old neighborhood dies and we all see each other at the funeral.

Sometimes we would call each other or send a card/letter in the mail. Once in while, but that's about it. 😔
