Do you ever look up old friends/lovers?

During the past 6 months, I've looked up 3 guys that I used to date, and haven't spoken to in many years, only to find their obituaries. It's not that I wanted to reconnect -- I was just curious about where they may be in this stage of life.

Now I know.

Yes, I did this just the other day with an old HS sweetheart of mine鈥he no longer had a FB account. I looked and found her obit. 馃様
A few months ago there was another woman on FB that had taken a liking to me. We crossed paths on a private funny meme group. I no longer found her FB account either. Turns out she was killed in a car wreck.
