Is it possible to have a meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling life without a reciprocal emotional connection with anyone?

WHAT IF... you have zero friends... no one seems to like you... that weighs on your mind (for some reason)... you do function in society and you are not a hermit... but you just can't emotionally connect with anyone.

Everybody's different.
We're not all social climbers or friend collectors.
So we find things in our lives that fill that void.
If it concerns you, maybe you need to ask yourself are you hiding away ? Deliberately avoiding people ? If so, why ?
If you just need to get started. Maybe you just need to come up with a list of things you enjoy and then seek out others into the same stuff.
Sports is an obvious one for some. They join a gym or the local football team.
Maybe the arts is more your thing. Cinema; theatre; opera; ballet; galleries etc.
You're quite young (not meant in any derrogatory way)Maybe pubs and clubs DJ nights etc is more your thing !
If that's what you like then go out and absorb !
chances are you'll meet like minded folk that way.
