A friend wants to buy your art

I have sold a painting to a friend for almost half the price. Now another one asks for another piece. It's very troubling. I don't feel okay selling my work for so little. At the same time I don't know why but I don't feel good with the idea of gifting my work either. I don't know how to handle it..

Your work IS your work. You wouldn't accept half pay or no pay from an employer.

Suggestion: When you finish a piece, assess its value and place a sticker with the price on the piece. Consider it carved in stone.
