Anyone else have a friend who is really, really ill?

I have a friend with stage 3b inoperable lung cancer. He just finished his first round of chemo and radiation, did that for 6 weeks, and then went home where he became ill with pneumonia. He was hospitalized again, and then released to a rehab facility because his muscles are beginning to atrophy, and 4 days ago came down with a galloping case of C. Difficile. The rehab where he is staying is filthy with it, and the unsanitary practices are to blame.

I don't know how a weakened man, with lung cancer, is supposed to survive pneumonia and now this.

He sounds okay, on the phone, but I am afraid this will be the end of him.

Gather all evidence, documents, photograph the area, prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
My father's in a care home and there are too many situations where you feel less than what's right, is being done. Proof would be in the use of hidden cameras.
I'm on them all the time looking to see what's going on.
All I will say is your friends comfort is what's important right now. That includes correct medicines, pain management, and mental peace.

@Peppa I hate those places, 😠they steal everything from the patients in those places too.

@Peaches they are incredibly cold and cruel. I watch them constantly come in and not acknowledge my dad

@Peppa That happened to my next door neighbor as well, she begged to come home to die and so she was brought back home. ⭐️
