What do you do with someone who won’t stop venting to you?
She literally won’t shut up about this relationship problem and is repeating herself over and over again and she ignores everything I say even if I tell her not to

Find something you like that she finds boring and has nothing to do with her venting and talk over her about that subject every time she starts up.

@ShaythePanTransMan well it sounds like she's pissing [i]you[/i] off or at least making you uncomfortable and ignoring your requests she stop. Maybe turnabout is fair play. Sometimes people don't realize how obnoxious they are being until someone else mirrors the behavior.

@Doomflower yeah kinda. Well I don’t want her to stop venting exactly I just want her to realize that people can text about two different things at the same time. That’s the magic of paragraphs, isn’t it?
