If you consider someone a friend would allow people to trash talk them? And if you do what is your definitely of a friend and does it include loyalty?

I don't know if this is right but this is what I do:
I would listen... if I respond at all would be just "oh ok." Then depending on whether this would negatively affect my friend, I probably tell them.
🤷‍♀️ I think people trash talk me all the time... I've never gotten word back of anyone defending me. But one time at least someone told me... I appreciated it. They wouldn't tell who said it unless I agreed to say nothing.
On the other hand, I try to avoid rumor mill... it is good knowing who's fake and sometimes you don't know that unless someone lets in on what they say behind your back... just try to stay wiser than my enemies but their words aren't a concern. I have someone in control of everything making provision for me... I can just leave it up to him.
