Most memorable was when we moved into a new neighbourhood. Dear Wife was diagnosed with cancer just after we had broken up the old concrete driveway. Our time was spent in the hospital rather than cleaning up the yard. I came home one day to find a bobcat with a large dumptruck loading the broken concrete and hauling it away. I spoke to the driver but he didn't know anything beyond his company told him to come here and do that. The next day I came home to a huge pile of black dirt being spread where the old driveway had been and another man putting in new sidewalks. Again no one knew who ordered it. Dear Wife went through her chemo and radiation and was declared cancer non recurrent. A neighbour we had never met knocked on our door to find out how things were progressing. We mentioned that someone had done all that work and we didn't know who. The neighbour hemmed for a bit then let it know that the neighbours had decided to give us a house warming. We have no idea how much money they spent on the time and equipment to finish removing the old driveway.
