Where or how did you meet your current close friends?

I need to meet people and need some inspiration.

Most of my friends I’ve met through work. I probably wouldn’t have any friends if I didn’t end up working there at the time I did and the age I was. I think due to my age range and the age group working there it was a lot easier to make friends, we also had a lot in common. That’s different from how it is for me now work wise, my co workers are just that coworkers. We are cordial with each other, but our main goal is to work and leave. Not much socializing going on.

If you’re in college it maybe the easiest for you to make friends there. Either through groups or class mates if not, maybe asking a coworker that you enjoy working with out for lunch or drinks one day.

I met my friends because they were my kids friend's parents or my mom telling somebody at her church, that I was getting a divorce.... Abby is closer to my age than mom's... I know how hard it is to make friends... everybody is too busy! If you could sign up for just 1 club or class, it might help. Bowling lessons ---> bowling team? One class at a college, dog or cat rescues? I hope you find one.
