Severed Ties With One, Another To Come

A while back I wrote on a person who was six ways to Sunday into being with me and I wasn't looking/feeling the same way. Well it's done. I ghosted. Spent a weekend together and then I severed ties after that.

Currently talking to another person, same situation. Going to do the same. I'm already feeling the want to flee. I don't get it. Why do these people even bother? Why do I?
