When you text someone a question or a statement and no reply

I try very hard not to take it personally, which I'm not always successful. But speaking for myself, I sometimes look at a message, no time to respond or wrong timing (for example if I am visiting with people, it would be rude to answer the text right away), but later, when I have time to respond, I forget I have a message or messages to answer, then days fly by. Give it time... If still no answer within a week, then presume they don't want to bother answering. I have an acquaintance of mine who reads my messages, but since she is not a texter, she does reply to me when she sees me. We see each other regularly so it's do-able. But I guess if my question is pressing, then I would take her silence differently and most likely, personally.

First I make sure they've seen it.

Then I take their silence as a response.

Depends on the question or statement.

I assume I'm not on their important list.

Like I'm not important. Two days later I'm done and move on. But it depends on the person some people really are busy and don't live on their phone.

According to the question/statement, I either get worried or mad. Actions speak louder then words.

I let it be. I don't take it personally.

I think it depends on who’s doing that bc my friend and I reply late often bc she has the same mood swings and erratic schedule as me but she’s really sensitive so she spams my Snapchat and phone w calls if I’m really late sooo you should probably call your friend? But if it’s someone else send a sassy meme and never talk to them again

I don't like that

I get annoyed. Like two weeks ago, I ran into a “friend” and she told me to text her so she could tell me what’s new in her life. I texted her a couple hours later. No response yet.

Delete and move on.

Assume they're busy, and they'll answer when they can

I think it’s rude.

It depends on how serious the text is and who the person is in most cases I don’t care.

It drives me crazy

Keep on keeping on.

They dont wanna talk or they busy
