it actually helped me to control a serious issue that i had when i originally joined here and EP that was taking over my life. it was a welcome distraction and sounding board. it gave me a space to meet others with the same issues as well as those who were not exactly trying to help and i could see myself from the outside in a way through both. I gained a lot more perspective and it helped me wrestle myself back under control and i am a LOT better today for it. The intimate relationships i have are also much healthier because of it. For as wild as it can be and get here. Yes, it DID help me.

I really didn’t think human sacrifice was still so popular. I have been educated. 😌

It gave me the opportunity to invest my entire life savings in John Olinger's time machine company. I'm gonna be rich!

EP/SW lead to me meeting what I thought was a good friend but ultimately being really really hurt by them. I let myself care way too much about them and in retrospect I had bad boundaries.

That hurt and friendship demise eventually lead me to finding a great therapist that helped me work through the hurt and also unrelated past PTSD, and began a healing/self growth journey which I'm not sure would have occurred if I hadn't had that hurt as a catalyst.

made me realize im not nearly as nuts as I thought i was. LOL

I've had the opportunity to talk to lots of pervs and eccentrics.

Have I became a better person because of it ? No

Have I grown as a person because of it ? Also no

Do I plan on leaving at some point ? Maybe

Some of the users here made me realize that while I may be effed up, there are depths of effed up I’m not even close to reaching.
