Making friends is hard as an adult

It's really hard for me to make friends. I quit drinking almost 13 years ago, and I lost all of my so called "friends" then. Since then, I really don't know how to make friends, except online, because I don't go to the bars or the social scene anymore. Pretty much, the only real friends that I have are my parents and my kids.

It is. Being a kid one just doesn't have all those expectations and needs outside of a person simply being around.
