does your home have grey plastic water lines?? Quest plastic tubing is failing causing major water damage for many home owners

Copper here (1950's/60's Aussie ex housing department house) but a long time ago water (and gas) pipes used to be steel. I haven't seen houses here made with plastic press-fit or properly joined 'poly pipe' plumbing but then again I'm not in the building game nor in a position to afford to build a new home.
