I'm still friends with one of my first boyfriends

Have you ever experienced a situation where you are looking at an ex and realize that despite how much you loved them, you are so glad you aren't with them today?

This ex is a really good guy. He's soft spoken, smart and just nice to have as a friend.

But oh man...every time he posts on FB, I just cringe lol

Any time he is enjoying an alcoholic drink, he's taking a picture of it in his hand like he's toasting whatever is in the background.

I get second hand embarrassment every time.

My man, you are 55 years old. Please stop toasting obscure objects in the background. No one cares.

Between that, his HO trains (a hobby he got from his dad), the real trains and his two "camping" vehicles I have literally never seen outside of his driveway lol I know these are wholesome things, but honestly, could he be anymore of an old man? Lol

I laugh about it really, but who am I to speak? I get excited about my chickens and crochet, so I'm an old lady too.

lol he sounds like he's having a midlife crisis lol🤣🤣🤣 but seriously ure a lot luckier than me, all my exes who I still loved but could no longer be with when we broke up were bc they either fell 2 bad influences (picked up vices etc. drugs or gambling or went 2 close 2 sme very shady ppl😬😬😬) or became jealous & super controlling (often with accusations of me cheating😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫) bc I "would always go out wearing slutty outfits that showed a lot of skin"😑😑😑

my most recent ex even broke up with me accusing me that im 2 much of a slut (which is absolutely bs anyway🤬🤬🤬) bc i kept on wearing low cut crop tops & ultra low rise jeans (without belt anyway bc i absolutely h8 wearing belts🤷‍♀🤷‍♀🤷‍♀) when I went out & he could no longer tolerate me "dressing up like a hoe & exposing my boobs, belly as well as my entire ass 2 every guy out there🤦‍♀🤦‍♀🤦‍♀" which is absolute bs 🤬🤬🤬 bc 1 he always knew that I luv 2 dress hot & show skin & 2 he as a man has absolutely 0 right 2 control a woman's body ☠☠☠

when I stood up 4 myself he then proceeded 2 argue that I "should've at least worn underwear instead of going out commando🤦‍♀🤦‍♀🤦‍♀" which is also absolute bs 🤬🤬🤬 bc I've shown him time & time again I do wear underwear it's just that I absolutely h8 2 accidentally show my undies 2 ppl & would much rather show skin & my entire asscrack when I sit & squat so all my panties & thongs r ultra low rise & I always wear them at the bottom of my ass 💀💀💀 (hell I've shown my entire asscrack both at school & work & not 1 single person ever said anything, not even the professor when I had 2 squat down 2 pick up a stack of papers that I accidentally dropped in front of him during class 🤷‍♀🤷‍♀🤷‍♀ so who is my ex 2 complain that me wearing my underwear super low so that they don't accidentally show when I sit or squat = me going commando🤦‍♀🤦‍♀🤦‍♀)

@FoxyGoddess yea but sometimes it is what it is🤷‍♀🤷‍♀🤷‍♀ fortunately my current bf is super caring & understanding as well as being very open minded & sex positive just like i am so he always supports me no matter how I dress or how I wanna express my own sexuality 😍😍😍 instead of being an ahole & controlling what I wear he protects me instead when creepy men try 2 approach me lol 😂😂😂 just 2 weekends ago I was wearing a super short pleated microskirt (u know the kind that r short enough 2 show half ur asscheeks😎😎😎) & a very tiny string thong as my undies 😆😆😆 (my bf wanted me 2 dress up as a school girl 4 our date so I surprised him with a cropped sailor kufu, pushup bra, pleated microskirt, string thong, stockings, garter belts & doll shoes lol 😝😝😝) anyway when my bf caught an old creep at the mall trying 2 take creep shots of me & look up my skirt when we were on the escalator he gave the old creep such a ferocious glare the old creep actually ran DOWN the escalator that was going UP 🤣🤣🤣 it was such a funny sight we actually burst out laughing right then & there & we kept joking about it afterwards lol🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
