I can be friends with people who are different from me.

I mean within reason. For example I have one friend who is a moderate republican whereas I am a moderately liberal/progressive.

I have another friend who is Christian whereas I am a secular individual who believes in a higher power but does not follow any particular faith or spiritual path. I feel like as long as there is mutual respect and understanding for both parties and the other party is not trying to shove their beliefs down your throat and they allow you to have your own beliefs without trying to change you. I think it makes for some interesting discussions and it enables me to broaden my mind by seeing the world through others eyes and that’s when we find common ground.

Life would be so boring if we all thought, acted, believed and dressed alike. I don’t know if I am open minded exactly but as long as it’s nothing too extreme I tend to tolerate or accept others ideas as valid even if I don’t agree with them.

These are just two examples.

Me too for sure, it just depends who they are - I could have friends who are really liberal and stuff. I kinda just like all kinds of friends.
All my friends are different from me. Makes it interesting.
