She’s my best friend

Our journey of friendship has timeless moments from childhood carefree days to teenage crushes to hard adult life changing turning points. Through it all she is my #1 cheerleader, my confidant , my rock, my teacher and my guardian angel. Her presence in my life is priceless.

@Sassygirl42 of course you can. It is just odd to see it written that way. It is great that you have that relationship.

@samueltyler2 why is it odd. It’s not in the past tense. I am writing about our friendship journey.

@samueltyler2 so meaningful posts about one’s life experiences is odd ? Yeah I guess in such a place with meaningless rubbish it would be odd. I happen to write about meaningful things.

@Sassygirl42 I didn't mean to offend you. It was a nice description. It just struck me as sounding like a retrospective ode
Sassygirl42 · 51-55, F
@samueltyler2 well we have been friends for 40 years I refer to our life as friends through out those years. I never says she was dead. No Indication of that. .

@samueltyler2 what’s odd about reflection when you have a 40 year friendship.

@Sassygirl42 please, I already said both that I did not mean to offend you and that it read like a beautiful tribute. What else would you like me to do?
Sassygirl42 · 51-55, F
@samueltyler2 yes and what’s wrong with celebrating a friendship. There should be nothing odd about that. It’s your odd comment that rubs me the wrong way. It shouldn’t be odd to appreciate a friend.

@Sassygirl42 good bye.
