I'm not sure why so many people think cooking is tricky when most have never attempted it.
1. Determining or finding a meal to make.
2. Get all the ingredients. (Make a Shopping list. Check for items you may already have at home. Write down what you don't have. Double-check everything.)
3. Ingredient Prep. Washing (unless it's pre-washed, but usually I wash again anyway), Cutting/Chopping, and Measuring (either little containers or I throw everything on little disposable plates, that's spices as well) oh, and make sure you wash your hands.
4. Start Cooking. Just follow the recipe and everything will be fine. Use timers, if needed. Oh one more thing.
Wash as you go, you'll thank me later.
PS- @Cigarguy ..... this wasn't for you. I know you can cook. I almost put... Yan Can Cook. 😆 I loved watching that guy, so so funny. One of the better PBS shows on.
