I’m terrible at gift ideas but just wanted to wish you a great weekend on Long Island, it’s where I grew up. 🙂

At least that's the sort of thing I prefer. Everyone I know has all they need (at least of those things I can afford to buy them) and limited space for things that last. So food and drink that we consume together generally goes down well.

A fine bottle of wine for you two to share while reuniting reminiscing with each other?
A nice decorative basket of fresh fruit?
Flowers in a very nice vase?
A quilt that you know that would tickle her fancy and fit her decor?
