How should I react to a friend that didn't keep my secret after she promised to

I told a friend of mine a secret and she promised to never tell anyone but she did.

I don't make friends very easy and i like her like a sister but i can't believe she told someone what i said after she promised not to

What would you do?

A friend like that ain't worth keeping. Good friendships are founded on mutual respect, and she clearly didn't respect you enough to keep her promise to you.

I'd tell her how hurt and betrayed you feel. Maybe it's a one-time thing and she knows she messed up, but it'll be hard to trust someone like that ever again
