I just thought of something

So I just realized I have never meet any of Joel's friends. We meet at our support group. Since we've been together I've meet his grandma, X wife and family but that's it. He never talks about any either. Everyone we hang out with are my buddy or people at the cigar lounge. He never went there before meeting me. Not really sure why I just thought of this either.

I don't really have real life friends, either. Most of my friends are here on SW.

Some people see that as a red flag, rather than an autistic person trying to navigate a neurotypical world.

Looking back now, I accept that I could have used a quiet place to retreat to for my break times at school rather than being forced to go out there with hordes of noisy, screaming children during break times and dinner times. I value my quiet rest time.

My spouse and I’ve been together for almost 13 years on and off again and I think he has only hung out with my friends like twice not including like kids bdays and holidays and such

Sometimes it's better to just have a small group of friends than having a large mass of them.

@Barefooter25 true I've only had one close friend my whole life and we get along great with everyone at the cigar lounge. I don't maybe I'm over thinking it because I'm so tired
