What do you say to women who are concerned about their body image?

I have two friends right now who are very concerned about their weight and looks in general. I see two truths here:
1. They both look great and are worrying about nothing,
2. It doesn't matter anyway because they're my friends and I know that they're beautiful inside and out. That has a LOT of attractive potential.

I've told them the second part. I'm hesitant to add the first part because then it sounds like it's about that. 🤷‍♂ I swear, even the most beautiful women over-worry about their looks.

Generally, the former they - we - think is just general chatter and meaningless.

My wife busted her ankle last year and was unable to exercise properly for a good month or more. During that time she did gain weight, and that was her concern, and she did laugh it off but I know that she did find it a little upsetting too.

Bringing up weight turns the focus back on that. try to look at other complementary things about them.
@KarenDuponteDurose Reading it, I can understand how #2 sounds off. Maybe it frames them in a way like they exist to be attractive.

@SinlessOnslaught No, it's ok to say those things because it's heartfelt from you, which is lovely....BUT they won't hear it because their minds are stuck on the weigh issue.
@KarenDuponteDurose Makes sense. Thank you.

Just to be clear, you are a woman, married to a woman? It's fine, and nothing unusual, just asking because that would be a great person to recieve woman advice from lol.

@SinlessOnslaught Yes and yes! That's why I'm giving the advice! No problemo! 🙂
