But yeah seriously you are correct. I remember around 1998, the pope was going to be in town. My boss said, "He gets up there, says some incoherent babble, and everyone cheers. I do not see what the big deal is."

Well, here they are - That one old dude, that other crusty old coot, some old fogy, grandpa Moses, another old geezer, and a few others.
And when see white smoke out of that one building or wherever, it means 420 became legal. Black smoke means the pope's wife burned dinner again.
Something like that.
