Did you know that sneezing is nature's way of ridding the body of viral infection which gets trapped in the lungs?
That is the only reason we sneeze is if something enters the lungs while we breathe that isn't suppose to be in there, like dust or virus.
Bacteria on the other hand doesn't enter the lungs but instead takes root in the nasal cavities or in the throat. That is why sore throats are bacterial infections not viral infections.
To NOT sneeze... or worse yet, to attempt to suppress a sneeze is thought to reduce one's life expectancy if we prevent the body's natural reaction to expel virus as we suppress a sneeze, a virus which ultimately remains trapped in the lungs indefinitely by not sneezing hard and violently to expel that virus when the body wants it gone.
