According to Brahmins, earning with honesty, and always speaking truth is necessary for better consciousness of mind...

Ask yourself; why do certain animals steal?

And do they really have a guilty conscience for stealing?

Now ask; is certain things really being honest, or is the lack of necessity really the question?

Honesty is relative to necessity.

For some odd reason, few animals will take more than what is necessary. Is that, in truth, not being honest?

Yet we humans usually do.

Does a chameleon hide itself for being dishonest? Or does it hide itself, because of defensive reasons?

The necessity question appears once again.

Little is black or white. Right or wrong. There's usually another way of thinking, relative to its own perspective.

@Roundandroundwego right! You never seen a dog hide from its owner when it knew it did something wrong.

They do have a sense of right and wrong! They can steal and know that they are stealing.

They even have a sense of guilt IF they knew they could have done better.

It's when it's a necessity they don't have guilt!
@DeWayfarer a dog sometimes looks guilty, true. I don't think they always feel bad about eating food they never owned.
