I landed back in the States about a half hour ago. I'm now waiting for an Uber to take me home where I'll find my girlfriend quietly sleeping in my bed. Her gorgeous long dark hair will be splayed all over the pillow and she'll be softly & slowly breathing. My head is a bit chaotic right now but I know the moment I lay eyes on her and hear her soft breaths, all will be right with the world; my demons will have been smited.
