Is it strange to be 30 years old and have no friends in real life?

And also never had a friend your whole life. I dont mean online. All my friends are online. But sometimes i wish i had a real life friend. Who liked me. And do things. And do girl things. I mean I mever even had a virthday party my whole life. Only once when i was a kid. And no one showed up. And then 1 more time when i was 11. I feel isolated a lot. And being sick all the time means i must be home. And im also scared to go out. I guess ill mever experience having a true friend.

Friends tend to start disappearing when people start building their own families, which is often around 30 for our generation.
However, considering the number of people in their 30s who nowadays don't even have a partner, let alone children, it's almost bizarre how many still can't find friends. I assume many don't even want them or possibly don't want to invest their time, energy and money into them.

@CrazyMusicLover I wonder why finding a partner became such a low priority for so many?
It is like at some point in the millenial generation is when they just said heck with it.

@Punches I don't know. Maybe we learned we can exist without them as well. There are many distractions and things that seemingly provide romantic and sexual satisfaction even without us being physically the subjects of certain scenarios. In other words, I think many people want instant momentary satisfaction without having to put work into real relationships.

@CrazyMusicLover I suppose when people do things online, the "return on investment" is higher.

The satisfaction may be less but then the BS factor is WAY less.

What is sad though is that for those who do want something real but cannot find it, they think it is somehow their own fault even though it may not be.
