A few were exposed as predators
1s trying get me to join a group (long story)
1 hyped me up then failed to go through with the plan after blowing smoke up my ass for months
1 lovebombed me for 7 months to eventually drop me

Just associates again really...

Are you meeting these guys online? If so, the problem is it's hard to compete with a never-ending supply of new possibilities. All of whom have clean slates. With any conversation likely being more engaging since none of them have hurt each other stories yet.
