What is it about me ..... that people are offering me their stuff .....
This morning during my swim at that YMCA ....
I met another dad , we were bear brothers , both furry from top to bottom 馃ぃ. ... Maybe that's why he warmed up to me ....
Anyhow , he asked me how I got the bruise on my chest .... and I said I had an encounter with a school bus , and we hit it off as chummy ...
We talked about swimming at the Y and the neighbourhood , and I mentioned I couldn't wait to swim in the lake , to which he said ....... toooooo sooooonnn ....... I said I know, 馃檮 , I was planning on starting the beginning of June .....
He said he goes in the lake in may at Cherry Beach ,,,,, which is a little warmer than Balmy Beach where I swim , but I said that was a bit of a hike for me , and I prefer to walk or pedal down , and jump in ....
He said , that I should get a wet suit and a cap , and I could go in earlier, and told me of a place where I could pick one up .... I thanked him .....
But when we got out of the pool , he noticed although he was a bit heavier , we were of similar proportions, and that he used to weigh 180 , which is pretty much where I am at most of the year...
He then said he has a spare suit that he can't use anymore and offered it to me .... I said ..AWESOME 馃憖. , and if it fits , I would buy it off him .... he said if it fits, it's mine .....
So , we are meeting up next week at he pool again , and maybe I will be the new owner of a wet suit. .....YIPPPEEE !!!
