Do you ever ask the other person that's in a bad conflict situation with your friend what's her side of the story?

I've done this a few times, not because I dont believe my friends, it's just that there's always multiple sides of the story. They always get surprise when i ask and tell me "No one has ever asked my side before" which stilll stuns me. I mean penny for your thoughts?

If they are both friends of mine yeah sometimes I ask ... I don't blindly believe one side of any story, ever. That's ignorant. Surprising how different versions are.

@SW-User I completely agree with you, I wasnt friends with the other person but i still asked and she was grateful.

Good judgement.

Assess the situation and tread carefully.

If she's your friend, then you have to call her out on her ..... stuff.

@Umile I agree, I'm always on my friends side but that doesnt mean I cant correct them

@Itsjustbrit absolutely true. It's kind of your responsibility.

@Selah haha yes sometimes its best not to get involved
Generally I don’t know the other person. But if they’re both friends, then yes, I’ll definitely ask to get both sides.

@bijouxbroussard I didnt really know the other person but I thought it was fair to ask her side of the storym
@Itsjustbrit If you’re not friends with the other person, that can be tricky. Getting both sides is fair, but could be interpreted as disloyalty by the one who is a friend—depending on the dispute.
